My world’s collided late in 1996 when I became a founding member of ‘Nina’s Nation’ after my electrician, carpentry, modeling - in runway fashion and having graced the pages of magazines, catalogs and designer campaign – experiences!
Nina’s tutelage was divine and fervent. She is the consummate mentor, teacher and dear friend. I carry the wisdom and knowledge imparted to me by Nina each day -  On Camera - and Off - as well. She has taught me how to do one of the most simple tasks of all and that is to listen. How to be specific and relate to people in the moment are two other important skills honed through Nina’s guidance.
I’m fortunate, currently, to be hosting on my very own improvement cable show SCRIPPS Network /DIY’S KITCHEN IMPOSSIBLE .  Having worked for DISCOVERY Communications/TLC on “IN A FIX” and SCRIPPS Network/HGTV “SAVE MY BATH;” I’ve been able to combine and delicately balance my love of carpentry and trade skills along with Nina’s teachings to enter millions of North American homes to provide the ‘DO IT YOURSELF’ nation with tips, knowledge and confidence on home renovations. All while becoming a “teacher” of sorts, myself!
